Warm and sunny.
Conditions
Still posted as "early season conditions" with relatively poor snow coverage and bare patches. Overall, the conditions on the groomed runs was pretty good.
Overall
Started out on the green runs at the top of the tram. These were pretty uninteresting but gave me some confidence before I returned to the base area. (There was little else open at the higher elevations because of poor snow cover and all the snow making was concentrated elsewhere).
Then took a couple of runs off the searchlight run and then from the top of the Red Dog lift down to Squaw Creek. Despite some pretty hard falls, it didn't actually hurt!
On my own .. a good day!
